India Eyes Medal Glory at the 23rd Commonwealth Games

The 23rd Commonwealth Games will be held in Glasgow, Scotland, from 23 July to 2 August, bringing together athletes from 74 Commonwealth nations and territories. India heads into the event with high expectations, aiming to continue its strong tradition of success on the Commonwealth stage.

Indian athletes competing in athletics, boxing, weightlifting, judo, swimming, cycling, gymnastics, and other disciplines have completed their final training camps and are ready for the challenge. Although the Glasgow edition features a more compact sports programme than previous Games, Team India is determined to make the most of every medal opportunity.

The squad includes a blend of experienced international performers and promising young talent. Months of intensive preparation, scientific coaching, and international exposure have helped the athletes fine-tune their skills and improve their confidence ahead of the competition.
