Kaziah Liz Mejo, a 19-year-old law student and model from Kerala, has been crowned Miss Universe India 2026. She emerged victorious at the grand finale in Jaipur after competing against 52 national finalists. Her achievement is particularly significant as she becomes the first woman from Kerala to win the Miss Universe India title.
Kaziah has already built an impressive record in the pageant circuit despite her young age. She won the Miss Teen Diva title in 2024 and represented India at Miss Teen International 2025, where she finished as the first runner-up. Alongside her law studies, she has pursued modelling, classical dance and music, while spending much of her formative years in Abu Dhabi.
Her national victory now takes her to the global stage. Kaziah is set to represent India at the 75th Miss Universe competition in Puerto Rico this November. With previous international pageant experience behind her, the young titleholder will now prepare for one of the biggest challenges of her career as she aims to make a strong impression for India.
